• Shop Pay — our payment processing service, which securely handles your payment details. We do not see or store your full card information.
• Email and SMS marketing platforms — used to send marketing communications if you've subscribed.
• Shipping and delivery partners — such as Australia Post and other couriers, to fulfil and deliver your order.
• Professional advisors and regulators — such as our accountant or legal advisors, or government bodies, where required by law.

We currently do not use third-party advertising trackers such as the Meta Pixel or Google Ads Pixel.

5. Overseas Disclosure

Some of the third parties above (including Shopify and Shop Pay) may store or process personal information on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States or Canada. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles, including relying on the data protection commitments of these providers.

6. Cookies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand how our Site is used (for example, via Shopify's built-in analytics). You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not function properly if you do.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Access and Correction

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete. To do so, contact us at hello@asmiactive.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe, and there's no charge for making a request.

9. Data Breaches

If we experience a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act.

10. Third-Party Advertising (Meta/Facebook & Instagram)

We use Meta's advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, to understand how customers interact with our website and to deliver more relevant advertising on Facebook and Instagram. As part of this, we may share certain information about your visit and purchases with Meta, including pages viewed, products added to cart, and completed purchases, as well as personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and general location, where you have provided this to us.

This information is used by Meta to match your activity with your Facebook or Instagram account for the purposes of ad targeting, measurement, and optimisation. Meta processes this data in accordance with its own Privacy Policy and Data Policy. You can control how your data is used for advertising by visiting your Ad Preferences and Off-Facebook Activity settings within your Facebook or Instagram account.

11. Marketing and Opting Out

If you've subscribed to our email or SMS marketing, you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying "STOP" to our SMS messages, or contacting us directly at hello@asmiactive.com.

12. Children's Privacy

Our Site and products are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
